School Site Council (SSC) Team

Welcome to the School Site Council (SSC) Team page. Here you will find information like our constitution, agendas, minutes and rosters.


The SSC is an elected decision-making group comprised of parents, community members, site administrators, teachers and other staff. The SSC has an ongoing responsibility to develop, implement, monitor and evaluate the school's site plan, as well as oversee categorical funding such as Title I, Second Language and GATE. Three (3) parent representatives and three (3) students to serve on the SSC. The School Site Council is required at all schools in the San Diego Unified School District.  Please contact Principal Michael Paredes at [email protected] for additional questions.


Membership:

School Site Councils are comprised of parents, community members, staff, and students at secondary schools, who are selected by each of their constituent groups. At the high school level, the minimum number of members on the SSC is twelve. Membership is comprised of one quarter students, one quarter parents and community members (non-district employees); and half school personnel, with classroom teachers in the majority, and one other staff member (not a classroom teacher).
