UCHS School Update (10-26-2020)
Hello UCHS students and parents,
If you were unable to pick up your textbooks and go through drive through registration (for those who have not done it online or before) last week, we will have two more opportunities this week for books needed for the start of the new quarter for periods 4, 5, and 6 for Monday, November 2nd. We will hold textbook pick up on Wednesday, from 4pm to 6pm, and Thursday, 7am to 9am.
This Friday, October 30th, will be the last day of the first semester periods 1, 2, and 3 classes. Most all classes will have a final project or assessment due this week, with many happening on Friday, October 30th.
We’ve reached the deadline for students/parents completing the Free and Reduced Lunch form we request from most all families. This year we qualified with over 40% of our families who qualified under Free and Reduced status bringing in an additional $200,000 in support dollars. With these funds we have paid the cost of an extra counselor, support classes for EL students, math support classes, and instructional supplies. Qualifying is a great benefit to your student and to the school. It’s super critical we get all families who qualify to process their application. Here are some benefits to qualifying:
