Class of 2021 Senior Photos (08-30-2020)
Hello Seniors and Senior Parents,
I know you have been waiting for this information. We are ready to go back to taking Class of 2021 pictures for the yearbook.
First, please know the photo session is free. Students and families are not required to pay for a photo offering unless desired by the family. We will, however, use these pictures for the senior picture that will go in the 2021 yearbook.
There are some changes to expect when going into Keane Studios in Poway, CA, when getting pictures taken. The first is that while seniors in the past wore tuxedos and formal attire offered by Keane Studios, this option is no longer available as public health guidelines do not permit students to share clothing.
Please know we do not want a student making a special clothing purchases for their picture, but we do recommend students wear either a black or white outfit to keep the senior portraits consistent. Again though, we want students in their best clothing, so if a student does not have black or white outfit, do not go out and buy one just for the school senior picture. No one should feel pressured to do so.
In the next few days, you will receive an email from Keane Studios describing their three session categories. You’ll be able to select the session you prefer and your own date and time at seniors.keanestudios.com.
We HIGHLY encourage you to set an appointment as soon as possible at their studio, which has just moved to a new location west of I-15 off Rancho Bernardo Road. They have taken great care to create a safe environment there, meeting or exceeding county guidelines for a safe return. Details are also on their website.
Please take a few minutes to access their web site and make your appointment so they can start making new memories and traditions for the Class of 2021. Thanks for helping our school and in an effort make our yearbook an outstanding one. If a student or family does not have access to make the trip to Poway, we hope to secure a time when Keane Studios can be on campus when we return to in-person schooling.
Have a great night,
Mr. O
